RH Depth-Adapter

The RH depth-adapter is used to extend the length of the RH BluePeg probe.

In-situ RH concrete moisture testing: When the measuring depth is over 2.4″, the RH probe by itself sits too low in the sleeve to easily connect the RH concrete cable. Using the depth-adapter brings the connection for the RH concrete cable closer to the surface.

In-depth measurements: When the RH probe is not sticking out far enough above the top of the meter to reach into small places, wall cavities or duct work, the RH depth-adapter is added to elongate the RH BluePeg probe.

The RH depth-adapter has simple, fast-to-connect and fail-proof 3.5mm stereo connectors, one jack and one plug. No pin arrangements have to be fitted, not on the RH meter, RH adaptor or probe.

—The RH depth-adapter is used for in-situ RH moisture testing of thick concrete slabs, when the measuring depth is over 2.4″. Because of the depth of the hole, the RH BluePeg probe is so far down, that it is hard to directly connect the RH concrete cable. One or more RH depth-adapters can be connected to the RH probe before the probe is inserted into the sleeve or plastic hole liner (for over 3.25″ measuring depth). This brings the cable connection closer to the surface for easy plug-in.

—The RH depth-adapter is also used to make the shaft of the RH probe longer when measuring relative humidity in hard-to-reach places, wall cavities or duct work. Again, one or more RH depth-adapters can be added to further increase the reach of the RH probe.

The RH depth-adapter is placed between the RH BluePeg probe and the RH adapter or one of the RH cables. The depth-adapter including the plug is 1.5″ long. The black part is 1″ long. Several depth adapters can be stacked to make the RH probe even longer, one inch for each adapter. The connection is made by a simple, fast-to-connect and failproof 3.5mm stereo plug and jack. No pin arrangements on the meter, adapter or probe have to be fitted.

When using the depth-adapter, RH adapter or RH cables are still necessary to connect to the RH meters or data loggers:

— Ligno-Tec RH: RH only
— Ligno-DuoTec BW: RH and pinless
— Ligno-VersaTec: RH and pinless and pin 

— RH data logger BL2 Memo-Chip
— MC Moisture Tracker: RH and moisture content
