Concrete RH Cable with Seal Plug

In-situ concrete moisture testing: The concrete cable is used to obtain measurements from RH BluePeg probes while the probes are inside the sleeves, in compliance with ASTM F2170. The cable-end-cover on the concrete cable allows measurements without moving and removing the RH BluePeg probes.

The cable connection is provided by a simple, fast and fail-proof 3.5mm stereo plug. No pin arrangements on the cable have to be fitted, not on the meter and not on the RH BluePeg probe in the sleeve.

Lignomat offers three RH meters for concrete moisture testing:

Product Description

The concrete RH cable is used for RH in-situ concrete moisture testing. It is a standard 6ft stereo cable with 3.5mm plugs to connect RH probe with RH meter. One cable end is equipped with a cable-end-cover. The purpose of the cable-end-cover is two fold. The RH probe inside the sleeve has to be sealed-off from ambient conditions during measurements. And, after a measurement has been taken and the test is not finished, the cable has to be un-plugged and removed without moving or removing the RH probe. The cable-end-cover accomplishes both tasks.

The RH concrete cables use standard stereo cables with two 3.5mm stereo plugs. Internal pin configuration is the same as from an off-the-shelf stereo cable.

Measuring is easy. No pin arrangements on the cable need to be fitted. Connect the 3.5mm plug into the top of the meter. Connect the other 3.5mm plug into the RH BluePeg probe (acclimating in the sleeves). Push the cable-end-cover into the sleeve to secure the cable. Push the READ key to obtain RH values. Lignomat’s RH BluePeg system for concrete testing complies with ASTM standard F2170.

RH concrete cables come in a standard length of 6ft (1.8m).
Upon request we custom-make shorter or longer cables.

Note: If the 3″ long sleeves are used for a depth over 2.4″, we recommend connecting the RH depth-adapter to the RH BluePeg probe before placing the probe inside the sleeve.  It becomes a lot easier to connect the cable. Order as RH-DA depth adapter.
