Product Description
The RH cable with sleeve-cover is used for monitoring RH probes. The sleeve-cover fits perfectly into sleeves from Lignomat and makes sure there is no air exchange between the inside of the sleeve and the outside air. Sleeves can be installed in wall cavities, ceilings, roofs, concrete slabs, wherever RH measuring and monitoring is needed.
The cable connection is covered by the blue cap and the cable stays connected during the test series. There is no need to connect and disconnect the RH probe. RH probes can be read with one of the RH meters or the BL2 data loggers.
Measuring depth of sleeves varies from 1/2″ to 3″, can be extended to 12″ deep. If sleeves are cut to less than 3/4″ long, we recommend using the cable with sleeve cover plus at least one extra RH Top-Extender to cover RH probe and cable connection, as pictured in the 4th photo above.
All RH cables from Lignomat are standard stereo cables with simple, fast and fail-proof 3.5mm stereo plugs. Internal pin configuration is the same as from an off-the-shelf stereo cable. The sleeve-cover consists of 2 parts, one is the black cylinder which fits snug into the sleeve and the other is a blue hood with a hole, where the cable is threaded through.
Setting the measurements up is easy. Install the sleeve, set the RH BluePeg probe, connect the probe, push the sleeve-cover into the sleeve. Now at any time, the data logger or moisture meter can be connected to the other end of the cable. This is helpful, when a series of measurements is necessary and the probes have to be placed in hard-to-reach areas.
The RH cable with sleeve-cover is supplied by Lignomat with every salt solution for RH calibration check.
Lignomat offers three meters for RH measurements and concrete moisture testing:
— Ligno-Tec RH
— Ligno-DuoTec BW
— Ligno-Versatec
and the BL2 data logger
