RH Adapter

The RH adapter connects a RH BluePeg probe to RH meters or data loggers. When the RH probe is connected, the meters or data loggers become precision Thermo-Hygrometer. Plugging the RH adapter into the meter automatically puts the meter into the RH measuring mode. If remote measurements are necessary, the RH adapter is replaced by a RH cable.

The connection from meter and to probe is done by a simple, fast and fail-proof 3.5mm stereo plug. No pin arrangements on the cable have to be fitted, not on the RH meter and not on the RH probe.

Product Description

The RH adapter is a connector with two 3.5mm plugs on each end. The RH adapter is used to connect the RH BluePeg probe to Lignomat’s RH meters and data loggers to be used as precision, fast-acting thermo-hygrometers. The RH meters can also be used for in-situ RH moisture testing in concrete.

The RH adapter is 2″ long including the connectors. The black middle part is 1″ long. The probe with adapter extends 2.25″ above the top of the meter. The connectors on each end of the RH adapter are simple, fast-to-connect and fail-proof 3.5mm stereo plugs. No pin arrangements on the cable have to be fitted, not on the RH meter and not on the RH probe.

If the RH probe on top of the meter has to stick out more than 2.25″ to reach into small areas, the RH depth adapters can be added. Each depth adapter adds 1″ to the distance between meter and RH probe.

If the RH probe should be placed further away from the meter, the RH Adapter can be replaced by the RH cable for remote measurements.

The RH adapter works with all RH meters:
Ligno-TecRH , Ligno-DuoTec BW and the Ligno-VersaTec. Those meters have a 3.5mm jack installed in the top of the meter case. The adapter is also used with the data loggers BL2 Memo-Chip and the MC Tracker.

The RH adapter and a RH extension cable is included in the thermo-hygrometer packages V-B, BW-B, RH-B. The RH adapter or the RH cable should not be used for obtaining RH measurements when the RH probe is in the sleeve, because there is no seal to stop the air in the sleeve from escaping. For all other applications the RH cable can be exchanged with the RH adapter.
