Adapter H

Adapter H is needed to connect a cable with split ends directly to the Lignometer K and the Ligno-VersaTec. The adapter comes with a BNC connection to fit the meters and two double posts for banana plugs.

The adapter H can accommodate cables with 4mm and 2mm banana plugs. Using cables is an easy way to monitor lumber in a dry kilns or moisture conditions anywhere in the building envelope. We offer an assortment of pins in length between 3/8″ to 7″. Cables are cut to length reaching from 3 ft to 18ft.

The adapter H is not needed to make a cable connection to one of the mini-Ligno C models.

Product Description

The adapter H is needed to connect a cable with banana plugs to the BNC connector on top of the moisture meters Ligno-VersaTec and Lignometer K. The adapter can accommodate two banana plugs with ∅2mm and ∅4mm.

One application uses PK wood probes and PK-H cables to monitor lumber in dry kilns. We offer a selection of PK probes up to 2 3/4″ long.

Other applications use pins and screws and LP-H cables to monitor moisture conditions in the building envelope for maintenance and restoration jobs. We offer a selection of pins and screws.

— Ligno-VersaTec: RH, pinless and pin meter 

PK-mini or LP-mini cables can be connected directly to mini-Ligno C models, the adapter H is not needed. PK-mini or LP-mini cables can be connected with the Adapter H to Lignometer K and Ligno-VersaTec.
