The E-mini cables are used to elongate PK-mini wood probe cables or LP-mini cables (with loops). Besides making the cables longer, another purpose for adding an E-mini cable is to have an in-between connect-disconnect cable junction. This makes it easier to install and handle long cables in an in-kiln monitor or in any monitoring system for restoration and maintenance, especially when the area is inaccessible after installing screws or pins at the measuring location.
The E-mini cables are made with the same teflon-insulated shielded wires as PK-mini and LP-mini cables. The cable withstands hot, cold and wet conditions. The cable is temperature-rated for over 240°F (115°C). In addition, the cable was selected for its ability to accurately transfer measured values from PK Probes, pins or screws to the meter.
The E-mini cable has two 2mm jacks (sockets) on one end and 2mm plugs on the other.
The 2mm plugs fit the mini-Ligno C moisture meters and the MC Tracker. The 2mm jacks make the connection with the PK-mini and LP-mini cable.
E-mini cables come in a standard length of 6ft (1.8m). As an option you can choose 3ft (0.9m), 12ft (3.6m) or 18ft (5.4m).
