Product Description
The LP-mini cables are used to connect EG pins, EL pins and stainless steel screws to the moisture meters mini-Ligno DX/C, S/DC, MD/C and the MC Tracker data logger.
The LP-mini cable has two 2mm plugs and two loops (inner diameter 5/32″).
The 2 mm plugs at one end end of the cable are plugged into the mini-Ligno moisture meters DX/C, S/DC, MD/C or the MC Tracker data logger.
The loops at the other end of the cable fit around the screws or the pins.
— teflon-coated pins EG 3/4″, EL 1/2″ to 7″
— un-coated pins EC 5/8″, EB 1/2″, EV 3/16″
— stainless steel screws
When pins are used, the cable needs to be secured by the Loop Nuts (order separately).
The loop cables cannot be used with DZ, DA, DB pins (pins for electrode E12).
If the DA, DB, DZ pins should be used a cable with Alligator clips has to be special ordered
The LP-mini cable is made with a pair of teflon-insulated, twisted, shielded wires. The cable can withstand hot, cold and wet conditions. It is temperature-rated for over 240°F (115°C). In addition, the cable was selected for its ability to accurately transfer measured values from the pins to the meter.
LP-mini cables come in a standard length of 6ft (1.8m). As an option you can choose 12ft (3.6m) or 18ft (5.4m).
Upon request we custom-cut shorter or longer cables.
The LP-mini cable connects EG, EL pins and stainless screws to:
— mini-Ligno DX/C
— mini-Ligno S/DC
— mini-Ligno MD/C
— MC Tracker
If a cable is needed to connect the EL, EG pins and screws to a Ligno-VersaTec or Lignometer K (Adptor H), angle connector or switch box, click here to order the LP-H cable.
If you want to check the performance of the cable, connect the cable but not the pins or screws to the meter and push the on-button between the pins at the meter. The lowest possible value should appear on the meter, which means the cable does not add a measurable value even in the low measuring range. To check continuity of the cable, put the loop ends in your hand and close your fist over the loops without the ends touching each other. Then, take a reading. The indicated value should be over 12%.
