Moisture Meters no Pins
All moisture meters without pins measure wood moisture in percent.
Pinless vs pin-type moisture meters: Pinless moisture meters are easier and faster to use than pin meters and leave no pin holes. But applications are limited to measuring boards and flat products. Great for hardwood floors and making cabinets. If you are working with all thicknesses of wood, building projects with round and other shaped parts or drying lumber, you are better off with a more versatile pin moisture meter.
To assess moisture problems and water damage in buildings, the Ligno-Scanner SDM, Ligno-DuoTec BW and Ligno-VersaTec have additional drywall settings and reference scales for concrete and other building materials.
