TECHNICAL DETAILS
Questions before you buy?
How does it differ from the D2-M?
Same E12 electrode, cable and case. The M2-M uses the MD/C (6–25%, settings for softwoods, hardwoods and panels); the D2-M uses the DX/C with 46 correction settings.
When do I need the electrode?
When the meter’s 7/16-inch pins cannot reach the core of thick lumber and a fresh end cut is not practical.
Which pins are included?
One pair each of insulated DZ (1 inch) and DA (1½ inch) pins. DB (2 inch) pins are ordered separately.
